"Last weekend I ran the Ultra X Azores race which was 125km, 18,000ft elevation gain over two days. It was everything I hoped it would be. Stunningly beautiful, brutally tough and lovely to make it out of the country after so long! Due to recent storms it was like tough mudder in the mountains with scrambles up landslides, climbs over fallen trees, wading through bogs and of course ALL the climbs! Very grateful to be able to get away for an adventure, and I was super chuffed to qualify for the Ultra X World Championships with 3rd place in my age category"
