Alton 10 Raises Thousands for Local Charities

The results are in, and this year’s Alton 10 was a massive success for our community, raising a fantastic £4,750 for local good causes.

Where the Money Went

Thanks to everyone who took part, we were thrilled to hand over donations to several incredible organisations:

  • Alton Lions: An incredible £4,000 went to our main charity partner to help fund their vital work across town.
  • Local Youth Groups: A £150 donation was presented to two local Scout groups and The Boys’ Brigade. Their brilliant volunteers each manned an essential course water station.
  • Treloar School: A £150 donation was proudly presented to the team at Treloar's, who very kindly let us use their car park for the event.
  • Alton Rehabilitation Clinic: A £150 donation was made to support their vital community healthcare initiatives.

Fuelled by Local Generosity

Our runners certainly didn’t go hungry or dehydrated, thanks to the wonderful backing of our event sponsors:

  • Sainsbury’s Alton kindly provided the fresh tangerines and bananas to keep everyone moving.
  • Zombie Snacks generously supplied the much-needed energy bars waiting at the finish line.

Whether you ran, cheered, or volunteered, thank you for making this year's race such a resounding success for Alton.

See you at the start line next year!
